Mrs. Minnie M. Lawver, 74, of Vermont, died last Wednesday in the Culbertson hospital in Rushville where she had been a patient 10 days.
She was born Dec. 10, 1885, in Summum, a daughter of James and Mary Bowen Hopping and was married to Joseph Lawver who died in 1958.
Children surviving are Mrs. Essie McDonald and Wayne Lawver of Summum, Miss Mary Lawver and Mrs. Wanda Huff of Vermont, Mrs. Thelma Munson of Colorado and Mrs. Hazel Beadles, Huntsville. Twelve grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, one sister and five brothers also survive. A son and four daughters preceded her in death.
Final rites were conducted Friday in the Methodist church in Vermont with Rev. C. W. Leonard, Rushville, officiating. Burial was in the Summum cemetery.
