Mrs. Michael Lau, 74, passed away Tuesday forenoon at a Peoria hospital, where she had been a patient for several months.
Emma Warner Lau, a daughter of Jacob R. and Mary Bubb Warner, was born Dec. 9, 1878 near Astoria. She was married to M. C. Lau, who survives, with the following children: Mrs. Hazel Walraven, Plainville, Kansas; Mrs. Helen Shaw, Astoria; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Julia Danner, Astoria; two brothers, John Warner, Astoria, and William Warner, Ipava.
She was a member of the Christian church at Summum.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Shawgo Memorial Home Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock, with Rev. Fred Thompson officiating. Burial in Woodland cemetery.
