She was born April 1, 1943, in Macomb, a daughter of Donald and Bernita Allen Branson. She married Jerry Kreps on Dec. 10, 1960, and later divorced.
Surviving are her long-term life companion of 36 years Gene Predmore; four sons, Darin (and Lisa) Kreps of Vermont, David Kreps of Macomb, Dane Kreps of Prairie City and John (and Cheryl) Predmore of Quincy; one sister, Janet Branson of Marietta; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Branson; and one great-grandson, Brayden Baker.
She graduated from Bushnell Prairie City High School in 1961 and went on to work as a Building Service Worker at Western Illinois University for many years before her retirement in 2003.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Jim Eddy officiating. Burial was in the Bushnell Township Cemetery.
