Shirley Ann Kennedy, 85, of Industry died at 5 p.m. April 8, 2022, at her home.
She was born Nov. 9, 1936, in Adair, a daughter of Henry and Mildred Seitz Murfin. She married Kay Kennedy on April 20, 1958, in Adair. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Susan Kennedy of Industry; two sisters, Lois (and Ronnie) McFadden of Adair and Martha Wooldridge of Industry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly A. Kennedy; and one brother, Harold Murfin.
She attended Graham Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1957. She was a Registered Nurse her entire life, retiring from McDonough District Hospital in 2016. She was a member of Industry United Methodist Church.
Cremation has been accorded. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to MDH Hospice or the Schuyler County Humane Society.
