Gloria Ellen Keller, 78, of Colchester died at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 11, 2021, at her home.Gloria Ellen Keller, 78, of Colchester died at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 11, 2021, at her home.
She was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Rushville, a daughter of Murlen Walter and Mary Virginia Phillips Croxton. She married Russell Glen “Red” Keller on March 10, 1961, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2005.
She also was preceded in death by six sisters, Doris Maxine Rockwell, Dora Grace Miller, Helen June Payne, Nancy Jane Croxton, Alice Zaborac and Pauline Toland; and two brothers, Richard Lloyd Croxton and Murlen Eugene Croxton.
Surviving are four children, Michelle (and Ricky) Stambaugh of Astoria, Rosa Keller of Colchester, Teresa (and Raymond) Hembree of Macomb and Daniel (and Dora) Keller of Rushville; two sisters, Donna Boyd of Rushville and Marylan Johnson of Macomb; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She earned an Associates Degree in Office Technology from Spoon River College.
She spent much of her life as a stay-at-home mom, but also worked at Nixon Tax Service in Macomb and Milby’s Drugstore in Vermont.
She was a member of Church of Christ (Christian) in Rushville.
Services were held Tuesday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Jason Hamm officiating.
