He was born May 20, 1954, in Rushville to Cyril E. and Martha J. Cook Koch. He married Rita Walters on June 1, 1974, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Kary Koch (and companion Jenny Hannant) and Joshua Koch, both of Rushville; four brothers, Fred Koch of Clermont, Fla., Denny (and Beth) Koch of Westmorland, N.Y., and Bill (and Mary) Koch and David Koch, both of Rushville; three sisters, Shelia (and Randy) Devening of Waco, Texas, and Lesa (and Leroy) Ritter and Jackie Ordiway, both of Monticello, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
He owned and operated Koch Pest Control for many years.
Services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
