Robert KendrickRobert KendrickRobert L. "Rob" Kendrick, 41, of Industry died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born May 7, 1959, at the Phelps Hospital in Macomb, the son of Bob and Luan Teel Kendrick. He married Mary Jane Hampton on April 1, 1978.
He is survived by his parents of Table Grove; one son, Israel Lee (and Krissa) Kendrick of Tremont; one daughter, Melissa Jane (and Matt Branch) Kendrick of Table Grove; and two sisters, Kathy (and Dan) Cassidy of Table Grove and Rhonda Kendrick of Vermont.
He was a 1977 graduate of VIT High School. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in August of 1977 and was honorably discharged in 1981.
He was employed at Heartland Healthcare Center until the spring of 2000. He was then employed at Laverdiere Construction.
He was a member of the Vermont Masonic Lodge #116, Ipava American Legion #17 and the Vermont Christian Church.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at his church with Tim Gilliland officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Masonic services conducted by the Vermont Masonic Lodge at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove. Full military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Ipava American Legion.
