Flossie C. Kling, 82, of Farmington, died at 7:42 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 1996, in Pinckneyville.
She was born Nov. 23, 1913, in Clarksville, Mo., a daughter of John W. and Alma Lee Hudson Carroll. She married Clarence “Dick” Kling on Aug. 20, 1932, in Missouri. He died June 30, 1970. Four sons, James Kling, Danny Kling, Gary Kling and Floyd Kling, two sisters, one grandson and one great-grandson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are seven sons, Charles Kling of Middle Grove, John Kling of Lynn Center, Jerry Kling of Galesburg, David E. Kling of Pinckneyville, Dean Kling of Ransom, Doug Kling of Farmington and Mike Kling of Astoria; four daughters, Elsie Anderson of Augusta, Ariz., Mary Moats of Canton, Kathryn Barr of Normal and Donna Fishburn of Galesburg; 27 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Anderson Funeral Home, Farmington, with Rev. Robert Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Maquon Cemetery in Maquon. Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
