Private funeral services for Mrs. Myrna Kost, 71, of Ipava were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Macomb. The Rev. Joseph Kelly officiated and burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
Mrs. Kost was born Feb. 1, 1897 in Astoria, the daughter of William and Lucy Hamm Cassel. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Macomb. She married Oscar Kost March 9, 1916 and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, William and O. D., both of Vermont, two grandchildren, one brother, Jess Cassel of Astoria, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Regan of Toledo, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by two children, one brother, and one sister.
