She was born Jan. 15, 1924, in Farmer City, a daughter of Dr. George H. and Jennie I. Quigley Breckenridge. She married Maurice E. Jones on Jan. 15, 1947, in Farmer City. He died May 23, 1990.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Vicky (and Dean) Bradshaw of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; one sister, Jean Scott of Lewistown; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She retired from the Selective Service System in 1972.
She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church where she served as a church Deaconess and a Sunday school teacher for 25 years. She also was a member of the Lewistown VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
A service of celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Brant Reed officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the memorial home.
