Daryle JockischDaryle Jockisch, 65, of Vermont died at 12:05 a.m. Feb. 24, 2015, at his residence.

He was born Feb 1, 1950, in Meredosia, a son of Clifford and Rosemary Turner Jockisch. He married Sandra Belville on April 27, 1967, in Palmyra, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dewayne (and Angie) Jockisch of Vermont and Robert Wayne Jockisch of Ipava; two daughters, Sandra Dee “Dede” Jockisch of Lincoln and Carolyn “Diane” Sargent of Rushville; two brothers, William “Bill” (and Kay) Jockisch of Abingdon and Clyde (and Mary) Jockisch of Rushville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Bob” Jockisch; and one sister, Vivian Akin.

He drove a truck on long and short hauls all of his life, retiring on Feb. 1. Some may remember him from when he was manager at Beardstown Farm & Home Supply.

He was an active member of National Rifle Association.

Cremation will be accorded. No services are scheduled at this time. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.

A trust is being established at Vermont State Bank to support equally, NRA and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
