Mildred E. Johnson, 90, of Galesburg, formerly of Ipava, died at 5 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at Seminary Manor Nursing Home in Galesburg.
She was born March 18, 1910, in Fulton County, the daughter of Charles and Eva Counselman Crick. She married Roy Johnson on Jan. 27, 1951, in Canton. He died Sept. 12, 1978.
Surviving are one stepdaughter, Virginia (and Jim) Litchfield of Knoxville; and five stepgrandchildren.
She had been a bookkeeper for several businesses in Ipava and for International Harvester in Canton.
She was a member of Ipava Christian Church.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Revs. Kevin Kessler and Steven Litchfield officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
