Chas. M. Crick Dies At Age 89

Charles M. Crick, 89, a lifetime resident of the Ipava area, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Americana Nursing Center in Macomb.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Ipava Christian Church with Rev. Lee Reffett officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 6, 1880, near Ipava to John and Susan Parkinson Crick. He married Eva Counselman on Feb. 10, 1907. She died June 15, 1966. Mr. Crick always used Chas., the abbreviation of his first name. He was a member of the Ipava Christian Church and was a retired farmer.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Ipava; one sister, Mrs. Edith Harn of Lewistown; and one brother, Richard Crick of Galesburg.

Preceding him in death were two brothers and three sisters.
