Junior Irwin

Junior H. Irwin, 73, of Bushnell, died at 2:23 a.m. Monday, April 8, 1996, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born April 7, 1923, in Roseville, the son of John H. and Myrtle Hunter Irwin. He married Mary Catherine (Litchfield) on Sept. 4, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. She survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Danny L. Irwin of Industry and Gary P. Irwin of Litchfield Park, Mo.; two daughters, Cathy A. Mayatt of Lake Ozark, Mo., and Sandi K. Aten of Macomb; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Waggoner of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mary Kinkead of Rushville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jerry Lee, and one grandson, Gabe Sprinkle.

Mr. Irwin was a member of the Blandinsville and Masonic Lodge.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Mound Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Calling hours are after 2 p.m. today with family visitation from 6 to 8 tonight at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held at 6 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bushnell Rescue Squad.
