She was born Dec. 22, 1947, in Iowa, a daughter of Robert F. and Elizabeth “Betty” Clarke Clark. She married Gary Dee Holcomb on May 8, 1964, in Pekin. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2021.
She also was preceded in death by her mother; one son, Gary Holcomb Jr.; and two grandchildren, Kristina Holcomb and Terry Holcomb II.
Surviving are her father, Robert F. Clark of Astoria; one son, Terry Holcomb of Pekin; one sister, Carla (and John) Berry of Astoria; one grandson, Gary Holcomb of Xenia, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She spent many years over the road trucking with her husband as team drivers and several years on her own. She retired after over 20 years.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 14, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.
