She was born June 3, 1948, in Orange, Texas, a daughter of Preston and Janie Charlene Haley Anderson. She married Royal Lee Hale on Jan. 13, 1971, in Orange. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John (and Angie) Hale of Littleton, Kelly (and Lori) Hale of Hanover Park and Chad Hale of Kaneohe, Hawaii; one sister, Sharon Lean (and Ronald) Steele of Industry; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Corey Vail Hale; and one sister, Donna Howell.
She was a life-long housewife and also worked as a saleswoman for Heilig-Meyers Furniture Company in Beardstown.
She was a member of Industry Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. John Keck officiating. Burial will follow in Hughes Cemetery west of Rushville.
