She was born Jan. 12, 1946, a daughter of Darrell and Josephine Visnosky Stubbs. She married George Hopps on Sept. 8, 1973. He survives.
Also surviving are eight children: Jeffrey (and Tina) Hopps and Ryan (and Valarie) Hopps, both of Bath, Eric (and Sierra) Hopps of Syracuse, Neb., Mark Hopps, Angie (and Dave) Hallmark and Monica (and Brian) Hallmark, all of Havana, Lisa Hopps of Petersburg and Carolyn (and Ben) Cox of Astoria; one brother, James Stubbs of Peoria; two sisters, Marcia Stubbs of Colorado and Betsy Stubbs of California; her stepfather, Arthur Galinski; her mother, Josephine Galinski; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Doug.
She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and worked in medical records utilization review at St. James Hospital in Pontiac, Mason District Hospital in Havana, Mount Sterling Prison in Mount Sterling and Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.
Services were held Friday at Fairview United Methodist Church. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana was in charge of arrangements.
