Lloyd HornerLloyd E. Horner, 77, of Canton died at 8:58 p.m. March 17, 2013, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born May 23, 1935, in Vermont, a son of Lloyd R. and Dorothy M. Engle Horner. He married Alice B. Mustread on March 31, 1960, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rhonda (and Elmer Price) Stanton of Canton and Crystal (and Bill) Trail of Lincoln; three brothers, Richard (and Ann) Horner of Canton, Gary (and Sharla) Horner of Havana and Larry (and Gloria) Horner of Summum; three sisters, Sandy Morse of Ipava, Janice Snowden of Burlington, Iowa, and Martha Tabb of Ipava; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Horner.

He retired from International Harvestor Canton Works and also Navistar III in Springfield, Ohio.

He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in May of 1955.

He was a member of Canton American Legion.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery in rural Lewistown with military services conducted by Canton VFW Post 1984. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
