Lloyd R. Horner Dies At Age 64

Lloyd Russell Horner, 64, of Route 2, Havana, died late Saturday night in Graham Hospital in Canton. He had been a resident of this area all of his life.

He was born Aug. 13, 1906 near Astoria, a son of Martin L. and Mary Brenton Horner. On Nov. 16, 1934 in Lewistown he was married to Dorothy Engle who survives.

Also surviving are five sons, Lloyd E. of Canton, Ralph and Richard of Crystal Lake, Larry of Summum, and Gary, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Janice Snowden of Burlington, Iowa; Sandra and Martha Ann, both at home; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Bricker of Havana, Mrs. Ethel Brillhart of Bushnell, Mrs. Erma Bucy, Mrs. Greeta Butler and Miss Wilma Horner, all of Astoria. Three brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Horner had been employed by Norris Farms for the past twenty years.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home with Ithel Kenser officiating. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery.
