He was born July 20, 1952, in Rushville, a son of Earl and June Hodges Hoke. He married Pamela Hudson on May 8, 1999, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Mike Hudson of Rushville; one daughter, Jaymee Hudson of Rushville; one sister, Rosie Sanchez of Havana; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Hoke; and one sister, Glenda Hamilton.
He worked as a general painting contractor.
Cremation will be accorded. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville at a later date with Rev. Steve Pichaske officiating. Inurnment will be in Rushville City Cemetery.
