Peggy Hart, 85, of Ipava died at 8:05 a.m. Jan. 31, 2011, at her home.
She was born Nov. 17, 1925, in Macomb, the daughter of Dewey and Ferne Zimmerman Trone. She married Harold Hart on Dec. 28, 1946, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2010.
Surviving is one son, Bruce Hart of Gridley.
She worked as a legal secretary for E.L. Weber until her marriage. She then was a homemaker and worked on the rationing board during World War II.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church where she taught Sunday school for 20 years.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Ken Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home. Burial will be in Summum Cemetery in Astoria.
