Kathleen Haacke, 78, of Lewistown died at 1:35 p.m. April 4, 2007, at The Elms in Macomb.
She was born May 11, 1928, in Ipava, a daughter of Arthur Theodore and Frances Elizabeth Groff Wickert. She married David James Haacke on Oct. 5, 1953, in Lewistown. He died Aug. 20, 1985.
Also preceding her in death were one foster son, Marion “Butch” Hertz; and two brothers, Don and Philip Wickert.
Surviving are one daughter, Condra (and Terry) Smith of Dunfermline; one son, Kenneth of Lewistown; one sister, Barbara Walters of Macomb; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a crossing guard for the City of Lewistown for 20 years.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in Waterford Cemetery in Lewistown.
