Ira E. Hendee, 85, of Table Grove died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, as Astoria Healthcare Center in Astoria.
He was born June 24, 1914, in Marietta, the son of Marion H. and Rachel Imel Hendee.
Surviving are three nephews, including Marvin White of Table Grove and Joseph Johnson of LaHarpe; and three nieces, including Blanche Duquenne of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
He was a livestock farmer.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Marietta with Rev. Tim Ashley officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
