Marvin WhiteMarvin D. White, 83, of Table Grove died at 9:15 a.m. April 13, 2020, at his home.

He was born Oct. 27, 1936, in Farmers Township, Fulton County, a son of Sterling and Ruth Hendee White. He married Marjorie Ann McCamant on Aug. 13, 1958, in Jefferson City, Mo. He later married Mary Jean Henderson on April 17, 1971, in East Peoria. She preceded him in death on Oct. 14, 1988. He later married Sharon McCamant on May 20, 1989. He later married Dorothy Joann Sams on Nov. 29, 1992. She preceded him in death on Dec. 23, 2016.

He also was preceded in death by one sister, Nelda Stepities.

Surviving are one daughter, Tena (and Lewis) Lashbrook of Table Grove; three sons, Marlin (and Jennifer) White of Browning and Marion (and Shattea) White and Mark (and Jamie) White, both of Table Grove; one brother, Sterling M. White of Douglas, Wyo.; one sister, Dorothy McIntyre of Boulder, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was a machinist at Caterpillar Tractor Company in East Peoria for 30 years. He later became a school bus driver for VIT School District for 10 years.

He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-60.

He was a member of UAW Local #974 and the Ipava American Legion. He was an election judge in Farmers Township, Fulton County.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service will be private. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
