WENOA JEAN (COOPER) HADSALL

Wenoa Hadsall

Wenoa Jean Hadsall, 78, a lifetime Lewistown resident, formerly of Spoon River Towers and most recently of the Prairie View Care Center in Lewistown, died at Graham Hospital in Canton at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 1996.

She was born in Waterford Township, Fulton County, on Nov. 24, 1917, a daughter of Willis E. and Letha M. (Berry) Cooper. She married George L. Hadsall at Lewistown on July 11, 1934. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1966. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, one great-grandchild, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Robert Hadsall of Lewistown; one daughter, Patricia Sandford of Canton; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wanda Fawcett of Ipava.

She retired in 1983 from the Housekeeping Department at Graham Hospital in Canton, where she had worked for 16 years. She had attended both the Illinois Street Christian Church and the Trinity Fellowship Church in Lewistown.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Connie Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown and memorial contributions may be made to the Lewistown Rescue Squad.
