JANE (DEAN) WELLS HESTER

Jane Hester Of Littleton Dies

Jane Hester, 61, of Littleton died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1990, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born May 19, 1928, in Schuyler County, the daughter of James H. and Mabel E. (Strong) Dean. She married Harlan Wells on Nov. 3, 1947, in Quincy. He died May 25, 1978. She later married Scott Hester on June 1, 1984, in Rushville. He survives.

Other survivors include one sister, Rose Busby of Rushville; one stepson, Steve Hester of Knob Noster, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Debbie Hester of Vermont; and two step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Bill and Bob.

She owned and operated Wells Fargo Inn and Wells Package Liquor Store, both in Rushville.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Marshall Ervin officiating. Burial was in Littleton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
