Hazel Haney, 99, of rural Vermont died at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1990, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Dec. 1, 1890, in Vermont, a daughter of Benton and Laura (Mercer) McCormick. She married Kenneth Strosnider on Oct. 20, 1915. He died Jan. 28, 1919. She later married Clarence Haney on Mar. 17, 1923. He died Mar. 24, 1970.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, an infant daughter and an infant son.
Surviving are one son, Verlyn Strosnider of Fresno, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Laura L. Seasly of Vermont; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of Vermont Christian Church. She was a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Vermont.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont, with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
