Ella O. Heaton, 78, of Vermont died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, June 10, 1985, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Dec. 5, 1906, at Saskatchewan, Canada, a daughter of Charles and Mabel Hunter David. She married Harry Heaton July 24, 1926, at Lewistown. He died Nov. 13, 1977. Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her.
Surviving are one son, C. Earl Heaton of Vermont; one daughter, Rosemarie Prickett of New London, Iowa; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Heaton of Smithfield; and one brother, Scott David of Marietta.
There are no formal visiting hours, but friends may call at Kost Memorial Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Lester Burgard officiating. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Astoria Church of the Nazarene of which she was a member.
