Mrs. Twyla M. Hunter, 72, of 201 Granville, Bartonville, died at 5:10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 1980.
Born April 28, 1908, in Frederick, a daughter of George and Golda Bollinger Wright, she married William C. Hunter in Fulton County in 1927. He died in Bartonville Aug. 8, 1979.
She was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co. more than 25 years, retiring in 1967. She formerly attended Creve Coeur Christian Church.
Surviving are one son, Robert C. of Peoria; one brother, Cecil Wright Sr. of Vermont; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
One son, Jesse Ray Hunter, died in 1957.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with Rev. John Plunkett officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
