Mrs. Grace Harris Of Astoria Dies

Mrs. Harry A. (Gracie May) Harris, 77, of Astoria died about 1 p.m. Saturday in Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.

Born near Browning Feb. 21, 1893, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Mathis Anderson, she was married at Browning April 2, 1910.

Mrs. Harris was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Browning.

Surviving are one son, Lawrence Harris of Jeffersontown, Ky.; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Welker of Astoria and Mrs. Edna Workman of Cuba; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lena Curless of Beardstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, one brother and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home with Rev. Lawrence Childers officiating. Burial was in Bader Cemetery.
