Funeral services for Ferd Heflin, 80, of Vermont were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. E. L. Dunavin officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
Mr. Heflin died Saturday morning at the Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
He was born Feb. 11, 1889 in Vermont, the son of Joseph and Lottie Sales Heflin. He married Zelpha Z. McCutchan on July 22, 1955. She died May 17, 1956.
He was a retired railroad section laborer.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Seymore of Vermont and two brothers, Clifford of Vermont and Frank of Aurora, Colo. One brother and two sisters died previously.
