Leo E. Hopping, 61, Of Table Grove Dies

Leo E. Hopping, 61, Table Grove, died early Sunday morning in Mason District Hospital at Havana. He had been in ill health more than one year.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, the Rev. Fred Thompson officiating. Burial in Union Chapel cemetery near Astoria.

He was a lifetime resident of Fulton county and was born March 10, 1897 in Pleasant township, a son of Charles and Marie Rogers Hopping. He married Mazie Dutton who resides in Lewistown. A son, Arlie of Lewistown, a daughter, Mrs. Lulu Edwards of Cuba, three brothers, Jesse Hopping of Table Grove, E. R., and Floyd Hopping of Astoria; one grandchild and one half-brother, James Noe of Lewistown survive. A son died in infancy.
