On Saturday night of last week, Feb. 10th, 1900, Mrs. Elizabeth Hollinger, widow of Joseph Hollinger, departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Gruber, in this city, at the advanced age of 75 years. She leaves three children and a host of friends who mourn her demise. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Balsbaugh, and she was born in Pennsylvania, coming to Astoria with her husband in 1881, where she has since resided. The funeral occurred Tuesday. Her daughter and family request us to thank the many friends who have tendered assistance and sympathy in their bereavement.
