He was born Oct. 14, 1943, in Macomb, a son of Earl Harvey and Eldora Lucille Cady Green.
Surviving are one daughter, Anne Nicole Green of Raleigh, N.C.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Green.
He graduated from Rushville High School in 1961 and Western Illinois University in 1965. After graduation he went to work with his father and brother Gordon at Green Motors, formerly Pickenpaugh Motor Company.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He served as Schuyler County Coroner in 1972-73. He again served as Schuyler County Coroner from 1976-80.
He was a member and past commander of Schuyler American Legion Post #4. He also was a member of Ducks Unlimited and served on the Scripps Park Board from 1973-95. He was a former member of the Rushville Area Chamber of Commerce and Schuyler Voiture 1100 40 et 8.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date by the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
