Eldora Green, 85, of Rushville died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Dec. 30, 1914, in Schuyler County, the daughter of Rev. Harold M. and Mabel E. Calvery Cady. She married Earl H. Green on Aug. 29, 1937, in Salem. He died Oct. 25, 1996.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Gordon Green, and one brother.
Surviving are one son, Fred of Browning; one granddaughter; and two brothers, Fred Cady of Rochelle and H. Stanley Cady of Sycamore.
She and her husband owned and operated Green Motors for many years.
She was a member of PEO Sisterhood Chapter AL and was a volunteer for the Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rushville and the Wesley Anns.
Services were held Friday at her church with Rev. Scott Henley officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church or the Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
