Donald GruborDonald N. Grubor, 83, of Lewistown died at 5 p.m. Jan. 3, 2020, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

He was born May 20, 1936, in Canton, the son of Nick and Josephine Braden Grubor. He married Leta Easley on April 20, 1958, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Donna Jo (and Leon) Bowling of 29 Palms, Calif.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Lee Grubor.

He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees in U.S., North Africa and Operation Deep Freeze in Antarctica.

He was a member of the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. He worked as a press operator for Havana Shopper and Mason County Democrat for both Martins, Robert Sr. and Robert Jr. He retired in 1990 as water superintendent for Lewistown.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with military services conducted by the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
