She was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Princeton, the daughter of Raymond and Olive Edie Burcky. She married Kenneth D. Green on June 5, 1958, in Vermont. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2015.
Also preceding her death was one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathryn (and John) Gumpper of Salt Lake City, Utah; one foster daughter, Monica (and Michelle) Kline; four grandchildren, Eric (and Rachel) Barton, Ryan (and Jennie) Barton, Kathryn (and Kyle) McLellan and Christopher Gumpper; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a school teacher and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Canton.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church in Canton with visitation one hour prior. The Rev. Tim Bauler will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be in Vermont Cemetery at 2 p.m. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
