Geraldine R. Gerhardt, 76, of East Peoria died at 9:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.
She was born May 16, 1928, in Pope County, a daughter of Ralph and Barbara Belford Gullett. She married Joseph Gerhardt on Jan. 18, 1947, in Pope County. He died June 26, 1991, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one sister; and two daughters, Linda Gerhardt and Jo Ann Shanks.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice (and Randall) Ragle of Astoria and Carol (and Tom) Becher of East Peoria; one son, Eric (and Malinda) of East Peoria; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glenn Gullett and Robert (and Betty) Gullett, both of East Peoria, and Gerald (and Barb) Gullett of Carlock; and two sisters, Gwendolyn Broombaugh of Pekin and Genola Jones of Flint, Mich.
She worked for Foster & Gallagher, retiring as a supervisor in 1971.
She attended Oak Grove Evangelical Church in Groveland.
Services were held Friday at Remmert Funeral Home. Burial was in Fondulac Cemetery.
