WILLIAM FRANKLIN GRAFTON

Franklin Grafton

W. Franklin Grafton, 90, of rural Littleton died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Born Dec. 1, 1914, in Littleton Township, a son of Clarence James and Birdie Grace Heaton Grafton. He married Bonnie Eskew on Feb. 16, 1939, in Hannibal, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Gene (and Judy) and Kevin (and Tammy), both of rural Littleton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford.

He farmed in Littleton Township all his life. He was a member of Schuyler County Farm Bureau and received the Master Farmer of the Year award in 1999.

He was a member of the Littleton United Methodist Church.

He had served on the Littleton and Garrison school boards and the ASCS board.

Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
