Janette Thompson Grubb, 85, of Rushville died at 9:13 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2004, at her home at Culbertson Gardens.
She was born April 20, 1918, in Pleasant Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Earl G. and Mary Belle Strouse Parkinson. She married Leo Thompson on Feb. 14, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa. He died June 7, 1962.
She later married Jacob Grubb on May 25, 1968, in Brimfield. He died March 19, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Don (and Clara Kay) Thompson of Ipava and William (and Susan) Grubb of Champaign; one daughter, Janice (and Frank) Dooley of Astoria; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Rosendall Boyer of Sun City Center, Fla.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse in Peoria.
She was a member of Ipava United Presbyterian Church.
Cremation has been accorded. Arrangements were by Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava.
