JACOB W. GRUBB

Jacob Grubb

Jacob W. Grubb, 82, of Glasford died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at Valley Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.

He was born March 22, 1919, in Pekin, the son of Jacob and Daisy Yokum Grubb. He married Florence Walbert on Sept. 19, 1954. She died Sept. 2, 1962. He then married Janette Parkinson on May 25, 1968, in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Bill of Champaign; one stepson, Don Thompson of Ipava; one stepdaughter, Janice Dooley of Astoria; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by three sisters.

He had been a shop clerk for WABCO.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to any charity.
