Sherry Grisham

Sherry GrishamSherry A. Grisham, 35, of Vermont, died at 6:44 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at the McDonough Dist. Hospital emergency room in Macomb.

She was born Oct. 18, 1966, in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter of Harry "Butch" Volk and Cheryl A. McClain. She was raised by her grandparents Mary and Edward McClain. She married Robert Lee Grisham on Feb. 18, 1995, in Macomb. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Justin Jockisch, at home; her father, Harry "Butch" (and Pam) Volk of Peoria; her mother, Cheryl Loveland of Smithfield; her mother-in-law, Sandra Grisham of Colchester; three brothers, Terry (and Dawn) Volk of Smithfield, J.W. Volk of Ipava, and Brian Volk of Peoria; one sister, Dee (and Richard) Justice of Pekin; one half-brother, Brian of Peoria; one half-sister, Chrystal (and Mark) Volk of Bartonville; and two grandmothers, Mary McClain of Ipava and Beverly Nebergall of Canton.

She was a housewife and worked at Zeta Corp. in Macomb for two years.

Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava, with Jim Comstock officiating. Burial was in Stites Cemetery in Bernadotte.

Memorials may be made to the Midwest Kidney Foundation or the Education Fund for Justin Jockisch at the Ipava State Bank in Ipava.
