Oscar V. Green, 84, of Table Grove, died at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 30, 1915, in Fulton County, the son of John Edward and Susie Elizabeth Simpson Green. He married Dorothy Foster on June 5, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. She died Sept. 4, 1987.
Surviving are Dixie Johnson of Macomb, who cared for him; one daughter, Beth Horwedel of Petersburg; one son, Gary of Table Grove; and four grandchildren.
He was a lifetime farmer, a retired insurance agent and an avid bowler.
Services were held Tuesday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Tim Ashley officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery.
