Edward Greuel Of Industry Dies

Edward (Eddie) Greuel, 84, of Industry died at 4 a.m. Monday in Culbertson Memorial Hospital at Rushville where he had been a patient since May 4. He had been in poor health for the past eight years and more seriously ill the past year.

Funeral services are to be conducted by the Rev. E. L. Dunavin and the Rev. John Clarke at the Industry Methodist church at 2 p.m. this afternoon. Burial will be in the Industry Cemetery.

Mr. Greuel was born Aug. 16, 1885, in Littleton Township, Schuyler County, the son the Gustav and Anna Hollenkamp Greuel. A retired farmer, he lived in the Littleton and Industry communities all his life. He was married to Myrl Chipman Feb. 18, 1907, and she died July 9, 1932. On Dec. 20, 1939 he married Myrtle M. Etter of Astoria. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Markley of Industry; two sons, Lloyd Greuel and Wayne Greuel, both of Industry; and six grandchildren. One brother and six sisters also died previously.
