MARGARET M. (LAWVER) GEIMAN

Margaret Geiman Dies Saturday

Mrs. Margaret M. Geiman, 70, of 600 S. Main St., Abingdon, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital, Galesburg.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Larson Funeral Home with Rev. C. D. Howard officiating. Burial was in Abingdon Cemetery.

She was born near Ipava April 30, 1899, a daughter of Samuel and Martha Bowman Lawver, and was married in Astoria March 20, 1932, to Joseph Geiman.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Celio and Mrs. Charlotte Cunningham, both of Abingdon; five grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde of East Moline and Edgar Lawver of Moline; a sister, Mrs. Elva Foutch of Moline, and a half sister, Mrs. Bessie Lafary of Astoria.

Mrs. Geiman was a member of General Baptist Church.
