Albert Carl Greve, 63, of Astoria, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville following an illness of several years.
He was born on Nov. 27, 1906, at Avoca, Iowa, a son of George D. and Bertha Wolfe Greve. He was married on Oct. 2, 1938 at Astoria to Margaret A. Johnson.
Mr. Greve was employed in the engineering department at the Peoria Caterpillar plant until his retirement. He was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Karen Price of Morton; one sister, Mrs. Marie Putnam of Avoca, Iowa; and one brother, George of Hawthorne, Calif. One brother died previously.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. D. Arnold Naff officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
