Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the grave in Astoria Cemetery by Rev. Elmer Dadisman for Thomas Dean and Timothy Gene, two members of a set of triplets who were dead at birth Friday in St. Anthony’s Hospital at Rock Island. Their parents, Gerald and Barbara (Shawgo) Gruber, were formerly of Astoria.
In addition to the parents, the third triplet, Susan Ellen, survives. Other survivors are two brothers, Roger Alan and Larry Edmund, and a sister, Amy Sue, all at home, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Shawgo of Astoria.
