Della FranceDella Mae France, 83, of Havana died at 11:55 a.m. Sept. 22, 2021, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

She was born March 23, 1938, in Kilbourne, a daughter of Walter and Verla Smith Craggs.

She married Kenneth France on June 2, 1956, in Havana. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2014.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, parents who raised her, Emma and Dallas Craggs; and two brothers, Bob Craggs and Harold Craggs.

Surviving are three daughters, Vickie (and Eric) Walston of Athens, Peggy Lane of Bath and Lori (and Randy) Hammond of Bath; one son, Jim (and Andrea) France of Astoria; one sister, Dorothy Smith of Fort Myers, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and farm wife.

She was a member of Summum Christian Church where she taught Sunday school and served for several years. She also was a Kerton Township Election Judge at one point in time. She also enjoyed writing and was published in Reminisce Magazine.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Steve Castaneda officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
