She was born Oct. 9, 1928, in Beardstown, a daughter of Roy L. and Lucie Clayton Walters. She married Kennard L. Fowler on Oct. 10, 1947, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2018.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Noah Dale Fowler; three sisters, Hazel E. Southwell, Ruth Ann Haynes and Bonnie Hume; and four brothers, ER “Tuck” Walters, Harold “Speck” Walters and two infant brothers.
Surviving is one son, Ted (and Trenna) Fowler of Rushville.
She was a CNA at Culbertson Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Adalaide Rebecca Lodge.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Blackburn Cemetery.
