She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Lewistown, a daughter of Selah Ernest and Mary Deary Wilson. She married Melvin Ford on Oct. 29, 1966, in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are four children, Chris Weihmeir of Springfield, Jeff (and Renee) Weihmeir of Chandler, Ariz.; Greg (and Kelli) Ford of Canton and Mary Elizabeth (Ford) (and Lon) Fillingham of Macomb; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Lewistown High School. She was a former telephone operator, stay-at-home wife and mother. She was a member of the Lewistown American Legion Auxiliary.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. There will be no visitation. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
